Inner Exploration Furthers

Whether your part of the world is approaching midwinter or high summer, allowing a period of deeper-than-ever introspection furthers. I love the word ‘furthers,’ borrowed today from the I Ching hexagram, The Power of the Great. In this case, the expression comes from one of the moving lines, nine in the second place, “Perseverance Brings Good Fortune.” The energy of persevering does tend to move us along, doesn’t it? One foot in front of the other, and the like. And its application can be misconstrued at this juncture in the Great Remembering.

Perseverance does not need to indicate a need to ‘power through.’ Powering through our inner landscapes as they morph in place is a bit like sending a bulldozer after butterflies. No good outcomes can be predicted. A bit of introspection shows us what might occur during such an event. Let your imagination show you. This is where unconditional surrender into Source’s re-interpretation of our world gets funny. Why not witness the wonder, and observe the transcendence?

Whilst living in the Yucatan, I experienced the repeating spring miracle of the hatching of hundreds of lime green and lemon yellow mariposas within a few days’ time. The scene played out as if someone had flung spoonfuls of winged sorbet onto the green of the garden. Glorious! We backed the car out so carefully when it was needed to avoid the little creatures, so new to flight as they were. Often these little treasures could not move out of the way fast enough, so we crept along the lane, moving just enough to allow them to fly away under their own power.

Early 2025, probably closer to the March Equinox, will be a bit like dealing with hatchling beings, tentatively testing new abilities. Rather than rest in our own mastery of some of these talents, we can use the current transit of introspection to traverse compassion for our own new beginnings and the parts of us sporting wet wings and fresh light streams. We can let the hatchlings learn, including our own inner ones.

Tomorrow begins the ‘last month’ of the year 2024. What will it recapitulate? What will we accept and release? Hint: Ancestral patterns are ripe for resurrection, which can mean transcendence at this time rather than renewal. Patterns we have incarnated with, to work with, can now be surrendered. A new life is beginning for us all.

We are being drawn ever inward, whether it seems so or not, whether the ‘world’ outside whips itself into whatever or not. Our internal light streams lift and carry us in changed and ever-intensifying ways. We need to let them. This is embodying fluidity at its core. hint: Fixedness is not a safe space. It is not a riverbank or the side of the pool we can grab to keep any part of us ‘safe’ from sinking into what we are.

Letting go is so much fun! It is such a relief! And, when we gain facility with this adventure, it carries us to a home we only recognize once we have arrived. Then, like the wormhole transit system in the film Contact, off we go again!

Do we ever come to rest? Inner exploration yields the truth. The core of our Source Essence can always rest, reset, and regenerate. It lives within the heart of our Great Mother, the Cosmos Herself.

I invite you to observe as your inner worlds come alive. Sometimes it is scary, sure. But to whom? Love the bits that grab the riverbank or flail for the sides of the pool. The pool of formlessness welcomes all. She is our safety and our sanctuary. Isn’t that amazing?

Enjoy the inner roller coaster, complete with its unique peaks and valleys and archetypal gods and monsters. Let them feel your heart, your compassion, and your joy. Transcendence is quite the dance. Maybe these images might like to join in?
