Full Moon, Solstice Gateway
Happy full moon! What a glorious moon-set the past two mornings! Due West, and as bright as the coming day, I watched her luminous orb drop gently through pink glowing clouds and stark treetops to then disappear behind the continental divide. She looked too close to be slipping behind those snow-capped mountaintops, but soon her silver light was replaced by golden rosy glow as the sunrise kissed the peaks. That radiance does not happen with every dawn, but lends its precious gifts to auspicious alignments.
This month’s full moon is known as the cold moon in many traditions and, with four planets out of bounds, opens us to higher levels of curiosity as to what might be possible. Source is forever dreaming me anew, so when I read that this full moon was about bringing what needs to be complete to completion, and dreaming something new, I asked Her to dream through me in whatever way was best at this time.
I was instantly inspired with some new words for the website and a deeper understanding of how we all need to pivot our focus, and fast! The mind is such a funny thing. It leans on the stronghold of its habits. Did you ever notice the identity shifts in nuns who abandoned theirs? I speak of Habits, of course. When the outer sign of an inner discipline is no longer needed nor appropriate to the moment, the inner must radiate in new ways. So, each of us is being re-conceived, re-birthed and re-built, from the inside out.
This gateway, as with all such reflective events, kicked up a lot in the collective. As we’re after leaving behind old habits, we may remember that the “wailing and gnashing” is happening in versions of reality not our own. We can let ourselves be re-dreamed into a new being, one breath at a time, while getting on with what we are. In between a few “Solstice Seeing Special” appointments, I updated my About and Support pages, feeling what Source was completing, rather than any new dreaming about what might be coming soon. “More” was the feeling. Of course! Nuggets and gems and treasures, oh my!
These limited-time Solstice Seeing specials were introduced out of the blue. A quick scramble between myself, Source, and my assistant, and there they are, setting up those called to the experience for the Solstice transition as it dreams them into new being. I love seeing people recognize and welcome aspects of their own light. That function of the Observer is such a gift to me! What fun!
What Source asks is this: “What do you most need to see right now?” and “What have you not yet recognized about your own Source Essence that will most assist you, going forward?” The second query is meant to clarify and focus the first. I was specifically guided to let people answer these questions for themselves, in amplified sacred space, then to provide Source’s clarification as needed. I am always and forever amazed at what Source does, when given free rein. What a gift we all are, and what a blessing to be part of these transitions.
As Gaia barrels through the Solstice window, we can remember to pause, take a breath, even as the currents we are carried within rush onward. We can be the stillness that feeds, and is nourished by, shifting worlds of luminosity, rather than by effects of the churn.
The moon has not yet set. The peaks glow silver in the distance. And…here comes the sun.
Let your Source Essence carry you. Light is the intelligence quotient of Divine Love. It knows what to do.
