Individuation

Becoming individuated is a phase in the enlightenment process. What does it mean and how is this different from being an individual? For one, individual is an egoic term. Individuated refers to one’s Source Essence.

Individual: in-divided-duality. Insisting on individuality is an insistence on separation.

Individuated: When one has clarity about who/what they are as the Source Essence they are. This is an ever-evolving fluid state of being, having nothing to do with a fixed identity.

Individuation is where we own how Source moves through us and become responsible for the care and maintenance of our fields.

Living with one foot out the door is normal for many. It is a defense mechanism born of feeling manipulated. When an ego feels pushed out of its comfort zone, it reacts. Sometimes in anger, often by running. Either way, the reactivity is fueled by fear.

Here is why “going our separate ways” is a fallacy at best, and a delusion at worst. It’s all about energy. The energy you run in your body, your field, is what you attract. So, when you feel a desperate need for anything, you are mirroring to yourself what you, yourself, are radiating. Why? Finding out is part of the game.

Oh, and if you think someone has left your life, ask yourself how often you think about them? How often are they present in your field? This is NOT individuation. You are holding on and holding out. It’s a process.

Becoming individuated is a bit like becoming a butterfly. As the butterfly has to sacrifice the caterpillar, the individuated fractal of the All must sacrifice old associations and old ways of being. And that doesn’t mean what you think it does.

If I told you it’s more than worth it, would you believe me? Would you make the commitment? Would you listen? Source’s voice runs through the following lyrics, though they were written about a breakup. Life is nothing if not a hilarious mirror.

“If I could, I would give you my world. Open up, everything’s waiting for you.”

But you don’t want my magical world. You want to create your own. And that is as it should be. Just remember, oh individuated ones, There is No Such Thing as a Separate Way. All roads, regardless of how long or winding, lead you to the center of yourself.

This is the lesson of the labyrinth. You are that. Take as many twists and turns as you choose. Take all the time in all the worlds. It’s your essence you’re spending, after all.

What if loving you is ALWAYS the right thing to do?
