What is the Inner Event Horizon?
…Upon which one might focus and become still?
In the movement arts, we learn to find a spot on the far wall or in the distance and focus on it, letting the body spin, but the focus remains still. That is one technique, anyway, and most commonly advocated. What if there is no far wall? What if there is no far horizon? How far into freefall must we venture before we realize that there is no falling, there is no limbo state, and there has never been anything to fall from or towards?
Years ago, I would leap, regardless of the needed change, and sometimes find myself energetically hanging as though suspended from a parachute with no visible means of propulsion. In other words, I would leap and feel stuck or hung out to dry. Thrashing ensued, from which I learned to be still. This feeling taught me not only to look below the surface of what I thought I felt but to relax into invisible, unfathomable depths within the All of Being. This was the best and most worthwhile journey I have ever embarked upon. It still is.
Sometimes, I speak with someone, and Source recommends trust and surrender. Well, truth be told, and if you know me at all, that is inevitably and consistently Source’s advice. I recently repeated a commitment to Source {God/Goddess/All That Is / Universal Light} that has always helped me. “I don’t know what I am saying yes to but will not say no.” The person in question laughed, then gasped, ‘But that’s so scary!” Well…and it has to be said… so what? Isn’t breaking through the collective illusion of fear part of why you’re here?
The world of a fear-directed life cannot exist in the same vibrational space as the world of a Source-directed life. Fact.
Yes, there is more light and joy present in the world than there has been for quite some time. Fact.
And many people have not learned how to step out of their own way, even for the moment that it takes to be free. Sad truth.
So, where lurks the inner event horizon that can serve as a focal point for our total transformation?
Some say the heart. Some say the third eye / pineal gland / Cave of Brahman.
What if there is no singular mental image that can provide stability in flow? Where, then, might one find a stillpoint to help keep one’s balance? Can you feel it? Are you sensing the warm, supportive glow?
What if supple-heartedness is the learning immersion of the moment? What if we need to say yes to what we are at our deepest depths and highest heights and everything in between? What if we had the courage to let new event horizons find us, each and every one? {OMGoddess, that is thrilling!}
What if we could learn, and we are, by the way, to move through each found event horizon moment as that moment and integrate the cosmic breath we were born to inhabit?
Where is your “yes?” Source always says ‘yes.' Had you forgotten? Every moment of identification is honored by the Source of All That Is. This does not mean we must experience everything or anything in particular. We choose. Source then supports that choice. And, so, we learn. Which choices align with cosmic flow, and which spin us about a bit? What is the constant upon which we truly flow?
Where is your inner event horizon where fear no longer exists? “I choose trust” is a healthy first step. The following steps are never about words. But, you remember. You have trod this path over and over again. Where might a fresh, pathless path lead you? Or might it sweep you and your supple-heartedness into the flow of Grace that has long awaited your esteemed presence? {more than one, perhaps?}
How does it feel to embody freedom? Are you willing? You know you are well able. And, as Hamlet mused, “…the readiness is all…”
Oh, be joyful in your miraculous transformations! Easier said, some days, but so worth the elevated frequency immersion! Blessed choices be yours!
Infinite love,
